Utopian Tours
Utopian Tours interweaves augmented reality sculptures as “Monuments of the Future” within a live, performative narration by Mikala Hyldig Dal. The project envisions Berlin through a radically optimistic lens, proposing sustainable social structures as living, collective potentials. Urban space becomes an expanded social sculpture where humor and imagination act as political tools. In a city threatened by gentrification, artistic tourist tours encounter urban activists on a speculative journey through Kreuzberg. Invited artists and activists create site-specific interventions along the route, with a multimedia installation and meeting point at Galerie Alpha Nova: www.galeriefutura.de/en/zukunftsland-2099
